Delamere Forest, in french meaning 'the forest of the meres' from Norman times, being the remains of the great forest of Mara and Modrum. Delamere Forest Park comprises over 950 hectares of mixed deciduous and evergreeen forest, open grassland and wetlands. It is Cheshire's largest area of woodland and offers plenty of outdoor pursuits. Allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and find tranquility in this beautiful forest.
